To provide low cost accommodation to the Education Employees and their families. Make such schemes as it considers necessary for the welfare of the Education Employees or their family members and utilize the fund to implement such schemes in such manner and subject to such conditions as may be prescribed. Do all such other things and activities as may be considered necessary in order to achieve its objectives under the act.
